Emotional Intelligence in Leadership

Ralph Waldo Emerson, one of the researchers on emotional intelligence said that nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.  Throughout history leaders have been playing vital roles in giving their subjects emotional support and people always look for assurance and clarity when faced with uncertainty, threats or if there is a task to be done from these leaders. This shows that a leader should not be there to enforce rules and orders but also he should know what his subjects go through and help them get out of their problems.
