- Find a hospitality job posting from a reputable source* that is inadequate for what job it is referencing.
- In a minimum 1 page paper you will analyze the article and re-write it correcting errors and to be as thorough as is necessary, but without going so far as to provide too much information (i.e. still keeping the interest of the job seeker).
- For your analysis you will want to answer a variety of questions, including but not limited to:
- What is this job posting for
- What makes it inadequate
- What specific errors or omissions are noted
- Are there any misleading details
- How clear is the description
- What additional information needs to be provided
- Is this posting in violation of any labor laws
- For your re-write you will provide any missing details and re-work the description.
You will be evaluated on your ability to express the functions of the job and provide the necessary information in a legal, professionally correct and engaging manner. You will be graded on your creativity as well as grammar. All guidelines listed on Page 4 of the Syllabus, under Homework Policy, are to be followed. You will include a copy of the original posting when you submit your assignment.

- Monster
- Yahoo! Hot Jobs
- (others will be accepted with prior approval from the Instructor)
