Interview With Court Administrator-Conduct a short interview—by phone, in person or by email—of a court clerk, assistant clerk, docketing clerk, administrative assistant, bailiff, or other staff member of a court near where you live or work. Identify the individual and his or her job title. You may omit name if he or she requests anonymity; just include the court that the individual works in and job title. Explain how this person’s position can help make courts run more or less efficiently. Specifically, discuss his or her role in relation to court calendars, dockets, and case management. NOTE: Remember to use the Interview Consent form to obtain formal consent from the interviewee prior to the interview. The form is located in the Assignment Guidelines and Rubrics section of the course. For additional details, please refer to the Module Four Short Paper Guidelines and Rubric document in the Assignment Guidelines and Rubrics section of the course.
