There are various coding and billing certifications available, each with their specific application and maintenance requirements. Conduct a search via the available certification bodies and review what types of certifications offered, the cost of obtaining a particular certification, requirements for eligibility, as well as the cost and requirements of maintaining the particular credential(s).
