Assignment 3-What will we write about?

Write a detailed response–one that goes beyond superficial analysis–in which you:

• Identify any aspects of the writer’s perspective that you found striking, confusing, or noteworthy.
• Describe any of your past experiences, present interests, or future ambitions that you see addressed in the text, as well as what you know, don’t know, and might like to know about issues raised in the text.
• Identify several critical questions the text raises that might be of interest to you and/or others. Note: these questions are especially important because they will drive the writing and research you will do in this and subsequent units, so ideally, at least some of the questions should grow out of your personal experiences, interests, ambitions, and/or things you’d like to know.
• Pose a question to your classmates about any part of the text that confused or intrigued you.

Then, respond to one of your classmates’ questions in return.

Requirements: Detailed, in-depth responses to all of the prompts above, abiding by “netiquette” guidelines, and prose that clearly expresses your ideas as appropriate for the context of this assignment.
