The possible symptoms for children with Down syndrome include stunted growth, umbilical hernia, and flat head, mental impairment which have recorded a higher percentage up to 80%. Slanted eyes, abnormal teeth, and short neck and even bent fifth fingertip records percentages of 55-60% occurrence. Most of these signs and symptoms are physical, neurological with more than half of them having sensing problems. It is also possible to note that infertility is obvious as well as risks of leukemia and testicular cancer which have increased in people with Down syndrome.
