Week 6 : Your Personal Plan and Educational Journey

You are coming to the end of your first course at Walden University, and you are about to embark on a journey that will support and deepen your exploration of yourself, others, and the world around you, as well as your chosen field of study. What might your journey of learning look like? How might social change be a part of it? In this Discussion, you react to someone else’s story of learning and compare it to yours.

• Post 1 or 2 paragraphs describing your reaction to Alexie’s memoir about learning to read and how he expresses his commitment to social change in his community.
• How is Alexie’s story the same or different from your own story of learning?
• Post an additional paragraph about your views on how technology frames the human perspective. Comment on what you found the most or least surprising in the TED Talk video on this subject.
