The legal landscape influencing the use of assessments for employment decisions has changed substantively over the years. At the same time, ethical issues concerning the use of assessment have been magnified. In an initial post of at least 350 words and citing at least two scholarly sources, Summarize the contemporary legal and professional standards that guide the use of assessments in the workplace.

• Describe the implications of these standards on organizations that decide to use assessments to make employment decisions.
  • Analyze specifically the potential impact of assessments on individuals from minority groups.
