WEEK 2: Racial Stereotypes and Racism

In an initial post of at least 350 words and citing at least two required sources,

• Explain how cultural stereotypes of people by racial or ethnic categories can lead to prejudice and bias.
• Summarize the concept of racism and how racial and ethnic stereotypes contribute to racist behaviors.
  • Explore how racism denies equal access and equity.
• Analyze impacts of racial bias and racism in organizations.
• Delineate the role of organizational leaders in promoting fair and equitable treatment of people from all racial and ethnic backgrounds.
  • Identify specific actions that can be taken by organizational leaders to defend against racism.
