WEEK 3 DISCUSSION 1: Organizational Culture

Prior to beginning work on this discussion forum, read Chapter 4: The Corporate Culture – Impact and Implications, in Hartman et al. (2021). In an initial post of at least 350 words and citing at least two scholarly, peer-reviewed resources, consider organizational culture and its relationship with ethical behavior in an organization to answer the following:

• Describe the characteristics of an ethical organizational culture.
• Evaluate how organizational culture impacts the ethical practices of an organization.
• Identify what you would expect to find in an organization with a strong values-based culture and characterize the key elements evident in the organization.
• Identify what you wouldn’t expect to find in a strong values-based organization.
• Lastly, describe the ways you would evaluate an organization’s culture.
