In this written assignment, you will explore the DEI practices of a company, using the resource Addressing Diversity and Inclusion: Going Beyond the BenchmarkLinks to an external site. as well as information you can find online about the company. Start with an internet search of the company, and look for published information about DEI programs. (Hint: search by the name of the company followed by the phrase “diversity and inclusion.”)

In a paper of at least 1,250 words (exclusive of title, abstract, and references pages), double spaced, and citing at least two scholarly sources in addition to required readings,

• Describe briefly the company you selected.
  • Include information about the organization such as what the company does or makes, where it is headquartered, how many people work for the firm, and in what countries the company operates.
• Analyze the diversity, equity, and inclusion practices in this organization, including published statements about the organization’s commitment to DEI.
  • Describe the extent to which you believe the company supports DEI initiatives and how it does so.
  • Assess which of the favorable DEI trends from this week’s first discussion forum are evident in the firm.
• Investigate any criticism about the organization’s DEI practices.
  • Appraise whether the criticism about the organization’s DEI practices seems true and to what extent.
  • Evaluate in what ways the company could improve its commitment to creating a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace.
• Summarize what you believe the organization is doing well based on what you have read about this organization and in which areas of DEI you believe the company can improve.
  • Determine to what extent you think the organization is addressing any shortcomings in its DEI practices.
