South African Culture
Officially, South Africa is known as the republic of South Africa which borders Namibia, Mozambique, Swaziland, Lesotho, Botswana and Zimbabwe. According to the government of South Africa the country’s surface falls between the interior plateau and also the land that is between the plateau and also the coast. The county has three capitals, which include Pretoria Judicial, Cape Town and Bloemfontein Legislative.
The country has an estimated population of 47 million people and is considered the 25th world’s largest country (Kopp & Roth, 2003). Constituent to its population is the Africans who constitute to 37.2 million; the white population in the country is estimated to be 4.4 million and the colored population which includes the India and the Asian population are estimated to be 1.1million. Thus for the employees going to work in South Africa should distinguish the various ways to treat the different population and know their traditions.
