TASK 2: Your Narrative Essay
Hello class,
After you've read everything you need to read for the week,
studied the PPTs, watched the videos, etc., THEN work on your
essay, and upload it here when you're ready. Remember, there
is a deadline, and if you miss it, you will be locked out! SO,
PLEASE DON'T WAIT TILL THE LAST MINUTE TO SUBMIT THIS
IN CASE YOU ENCOUNTER TECHNICAL PROBLEMS.
SPECS:
1. Write between 500 words and 750 words. Please don't
go below 500, or exceed 750 by much (either extreme
can affect your grade).
2. Use the MLA template that I have provided you with in
the module. Points will be taken off if this format is not
followed.
3. No research or Works Cited page necessary.
4. You're writing your own story based on one of the
topics available for you in the module. You are not
commenting on Langston Hughes' essay "Salvation" or on
the second essay, "How Comics Saved My Life." Those are
just for you to see what a narrative is. You're also not
making anything up; this is NOT fiction, but nonfiction.
5. Write in 1st person, the "I" voice.
6. Please be original. Do not copy the work from anybody!
There is software that detects that, so don't risk it.
7. Spellcheck your document, please.
8. Be on time.
